Proof is the world's first identity-assured transaction management platform, on a mission to digitize trust for life’s critical transactions. Developed by market leaders who pioneered online notarization with Notarize℠, Proof verifies identities and secures transactions to protect businesses and customers. Since 2015, we've led many firsts in digital commerce, including online real estate, mortgage, auto sales, and wills.

We are seeking a VP of Enterprise Sales to lead our Strategic Accounts and Enterprise sales team. In this role, you will build and lead a team by hiring, training, and coaching Account Executives, establishing high standards for sales excellence and execution. You will develop vertical revenue strategies and drive operational rigor to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

This role requires travel for customer meetings, QBRs, internal duties, and strategic events. It is a first-line people management position reporting to the CRO, with a remote work environment.

The ideal candidate is energetic, driven, and experienced in building teams within fast-paced startup environments. Vertical expertise in Financial Services, Banking, Wealth Management, Insurance, Title, or Real Estate is a plus. Deep understanding of selling digital transformation solutions into Fortune 500 accounts, with a proven track record of overachievement in new logos and strategic account expansion across multiple solutions, is essential.

As our VP of Enterprise Sales, you will:

  1. Implement revenue strategies and a best-in-class sales process, "The Proof Way"
  2. Hire and train sales teams for complex deal cycles
  3. Partner with Marketing and Product teams to develop vertical-focused sales plays
  4. Attend sales calls to evaluate seller effectiveness, provide feedback, and build relationships with key decision-makers
  5. Support deals cross-functionally and conduct strategic account reviews
  6. Forecast sales accurately within +/- 10%
  7. Serve as an executive sponsor for key accounts
  8. Remove internal blockers and distractions
  9. Become a subject matter expert in online notarization, eSignature, and identity solutions
  10. Communicate effectively using Slack, Google Suite, and email

As our VP of Enterprise Sales, you should have:

  1. 3-5 years of SaaS sales leadership experience
  2. At least 5 years of SaaS sales as an individual contributor
  3. A proven record of top performance
  4. An encouraging, positive demeanor
  5. A hustle mentality
  6. Strong business acumen, judgment, and command
  7. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
  8. Proficiency with modern enterprise software tools
  9. Comfort with ambiguity and a problem-solving mindset
