Job Title: VP of Strategic Accounts

Function: Commercial

Location: NYC or Remote. This role will require work and/or travel in evenings and during weekends as needed. Anticipate over 40% travel.

Role Overview:

The Dalmore is a top 10 US single malt by value; Jura is a fast-growing top 20 brand; Tamnavulin is the fastest-growing under $40. These brands offer significant growth opportunities.

The VP of Strategic Accounts will focus on delivering W&M’s commercial targets in top US liquor chains and developing strategic partnerships with select national on-premise operators. Responsibilities include executing the Chain Retail strategy, overseeing distribution, visibility & activation plans, and driving growth in the US single malt Scotch category.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Business Planning & Development: Conduct reviews with Gallo’s Customer Development Teams, develop annual business plans, and optimize presence in outlets.
  2. Relationship Management: Build relationships with top liquor chains, collaborate with internal teams for category development, organize advocacy trainings, tastings, and events to promote our brands.
  3. Strategic Growth: Identify new opportunities and cultivate relationships that drive future growth and brand visibility.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8 years in the Wine & Spirits industry or luxury brands, with experience across supplier and wholesaler tiers.
  • Strong data interpretation, category storytelling, and pricing management skills.
  • Experience in customer marketing, e-commerce, and channel activation programs is advantageous.
  • Effective negotiation and relationship-building skills with a positive, entrepreneurial mindset.
Compensation & Benefits:

Base salary: $170,000 - $190,000, depending on experience and location. Includes bonus, full medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401(k) with matching, flexible hours, PTO, holidays, product allowance, and development opportunities.
