Job summary

AV seeks a Vice President of Security to lead all security aspects for national security programs in the U.S. This role partners with the CISO to ensure a robust posture across industrial, physical, and information security, including classified programs and DD Form 254 compliance.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience, TS clearance, and proven leadership to mentor teams, manage audits, and build a culture of accountability and excellence. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 15+ years in industrial security and management of classified programs.
• 10+ years of direct managerial experience.
• Deep understanding of NISPOM, ICD 705, DoDM 5205.07 and related frameworks.
• Experience leading DCSA reviews and customer/government audits.
• Ability to cultivate high-performing security culture and strong collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead security program and foster a security-first culture aligned with missions and customer needs.
• Oversee industrial, special, and corporate security operations and risk management.
• Navigate DD Form 254 requirements and classified contract obligations.
• Lead security self-inspections, audits, and government reviews with proactive risk mitigation.
• Oversee personnel, physical, and IT security for classified programs and facilities.
• Develop training and awareness programs to strengthen security consciousness organization-wide.
• Serve as primary security representative to government agencies and defense contractors.
• Collaborate with leadership to integrate security into business strategy and planning.
• Mentor and develop security staff and manage international security strategies.
