AeroVironment is seeking a Vice President of Security to lead all aspects of security for AV. The role partners with the CISO to ensure a robust security posture across industrial, physical, and information security, including regulated programs.

The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years in security program management, deep U.S. government compliance experience, and a proven track record of building and mentoring high-performing security teams to enable enterprise growth and mission success.

Formación

• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (CI or Full Scope polygraph preferred).
• 15+ years in industrial security, SAP/SCI programs, and management of classified security programs.
• 10+ years of direct managerial experience.
• Deep understanding of NISPOM, ICD 705, DoDM 5205.07 and related frameworks.
• Experience leading DCSA security reviews, customer inspections and government audits.
• Ability to cultivate a high-performing security culture.
• Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
• Professionalism with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the security program ensuring compliance with DoD, IC, and federal regulations.
• Establish a robust security culture aligned with mission-critical needs and employee engagement.
• Oversee security investigations, incident reporting, and corrective actions.
• Develop education, training, and awareness programs for security practices.
• Manage a Security leadership team overseeing industrial, special security, and risk intelligence operations.
• Navigate DD Form 254 requirements and classified contract obligations.
• Lead security self-inspections, audits, and government reviews with DCSA and customers.
• Oversee classified information technology in line with government requirements.
• Conduct security briefings and oversee personnel security functions and access control.
• Coordinate secure construction planning and accreditation for SCIFs/SAPFs.
• Oversee travel security and executive protection.
