Job summary

AV in the United States seeks a Vice President of Cybersecurity & Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to establish and run the enterprise cybersecurity program, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.

Reporting to the CIO, the CISO leads governance, compliance with DoD requirements, CMMC readiness, and NIST frameworks, guiding strategic growth, acquisitions, and defense program execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, cybersecurity, engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive information security experience, with 10+ in senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives and national security requirements.
• Establish information security governance framework, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison with government customers, DCMA, DCSA, and regulatory bodies.
• Brief the Board, CEO, and executives on security posture, risks, and initiatives.
• Oversee incident response, security operations, and risk management activities.
• Lead cross-border data transfer controls and international compliance programs.
