Job summary

HarperCollins Publishers is seeking a senior HR leader to serve as the lead consultative partner for the HarperCollins Christian Publishing division, shaping people strategy, organization design, and employee relations.

The Vice President, People will partner with divisional leaders to translate business priorities into people solutions, lead talent and succession initiatives, and collaborate with the broader People Team to align enterprise programs and practices.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Experience in consultative business partnership and employee relations.
• Experience leading organization design and workforce planning.
• Culture alignment with mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Business Partnership: serve as a trusted advisor to divisional leadership on business and people priorities.
• Organization Design & Strategy: lead organization design, workforce planning, change and talent strategies to support divisional goals.
• Employee Relations: lead complex employee relations, performance, and workplace matters with sound judgment.
• Talent & Succession: partner with leaders to strengthen succession pipelines and talent development.
• Leadership Advisory: advise senior leaders on team effectiveness and organizational health.
• Enterprise Partnership: collaborate across the People Team to align divisional needs with enterprise programs.
