Job summary

HarperCollins Publishers is seeking a Coordinator, People & Recruiting to support the Vice President, People and the Talent Acquisition team. Qualifications

• Two years minimum supporting HR processes, recruitment coordination, onboarding, or related functions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems (ATS); ICIMS preferred.
• Strong administrative and project coordination skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with employees, candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams through responsive communication and follow-through.
• Provide administrative and project coordination support across the employee lifecycle, including documentation, meetings, timelines, and follow-up actions.
• Coordinate performance management, talent planning, employee engagement, organization changes, and other People team priorities.
• Support employee relations and performance management by coordinating meetings, maintaining confidential documentation, and tracking actions.
• Create and post open roles on company career pages and relevant boards; manage high-volume interview schedules.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates and provide timely updates to candidates and hiring managers.
• Oversee onboarding for full-time employees and interns, including background checks, pre-start preparations, and orientation.
