Creative West, a fully remote organization, seeks a Vice President of Operations to architect and manage internal systems across grant funding, state arts agencies, advocacy, and technology platforms. The VP will ensure coordination, timely decisions, and budget adherence while aligning programs with strategic goals.

The role emphasizes building standardized processes, governance frameworks, and cross‑department collaboration in a virtual environment with senior leadership oversight.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in senior operational leadership within nonprofits or arts organizations.
• Proven systems-thinking ability to design cross-functional workflows.
• Familiarity with SAAs, arts advocacy, grantmaking, and SaaS.
• Proficiency with asynchronous communication and remote team management.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement inter-department workflows and IDAs.
• Oversee vetting processes for new initiatives across departments.
• Audit and optimize the technical stack to support remote work.
• Guide public policy, advocacy, and grants programs operations.
• Align budgeting with strategic priorities and revenue growth.
• Establish governance, decision frameworks, and escalation thresholds.
• Develop dashboards and metrics to monitor organizational health.
• Lead cross-functional communication and risk mitigation.
