Job summary

Creative West seeks a Vice President of Operations to architect and manage our internal systems in a 100% virtual environment. The VPO will ensure cross-departmental cohesion from grants to technology, tracking programs, budgets, and deadlines while translating CEO priorities into executable plans.

This senior role requires a proven ability to design scalable processes, oversee risk, and align stakeholders across state arts agencies, advocacy, and operations to advance equity and impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in senior operational leadership.
• Familiarity with SAAs, arts advocacy, grantmaking, and SaaS is a plus.
• Proficient with Asana, Slack, Zoom and remote collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and enforce inter-departmental agreements (IDAs) for project clarity.
• Establish a formal vetting process for new initiatives with inter-department sign-off.
• Oversee auditing and optimization of the tech stack for communication and tracking across departments.
• Bridge CEO vision and execution through cross-department processes.
• Manage budgets with Finance for long-term sustainability.
• Build executive dashboards and real-time insights into organizational health.
