Job summary

Easterseals Southeast Wisconsin is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Facilities, and Risk/Compliance. This executive role partners with the President and peer VPs to translate organizational strategy into durable financial and operational systems that strengthen performance and support the agency's mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• CPA or comparable advanced financial credential preferred.
• Seven (7) or more years of financial/accounting management experience; nonprofit or human services account experience preferred.
• A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience required.
• Experience creating, managing, and maintaining budgets in excess of $5 million preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP, nonprofit fund accounting, and financial reporting for grant and government funded programs.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and communicate complex financial information to non-financial audiences, including executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
• Demonstrated knowledge of human resources practices, employment laws, talent management, compensation, benefits, and organizational development preferred.
• Experience overseeing information technology strategy, systems implementation, cybersecurity, and vendor management preferred.
• Knowledge of business operations, process improvement methodologies, risk management, compliance, and organizational governance preferred.
• A Criminal Background Check must meet the requirements of the State of WI licensure for day programming.
• A Credit Check is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the executive leadership team and lead strategic planning.
• Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting.
• Provide HR leadership and workforce planning.
• Direct facilities operations and real estate management.
• Oversee IT strategy, cybersecurity, and risk management.
• Supervise department staff and ensure performance.
• Support agency fundraising and stakeholder engagement as needed.
