Job summary

Easterseals Southeast Wisconsin seeks a Vice President of Operations to join the executive leadership team. This full-time role oversees Finance/Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology, Facilities, and Risk/Compliance, translating strategy into sustainable financial and operational systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required; CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or comparable advanced financial credential preferred.
• Seven (7) or more years of financial/accounting management experience required; nonprofit or human services account experience preferred.
• A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience required.
• Experience creating, managing, and maintaining budgets in excess of $5 million preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP, nonprofit fund accounting, and financial reporting for grant and government funded programs.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and communicate complex financial information to non-financial audiences, including executive leadership and the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership of accounting and financial operations.
• Lead development, monitoring, and management of annual operating and capital budgets.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Design, implement, and maintain internal financial controls and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Prepare and present financial reports to the President, Board Finance Committee, and Board of Directors.
