Job summary

Empeople Credit Union seeks an Executive Vice President to lead day‑to‑day operations, growth, member experience, and risk management. You will partner with the CEO and Board to translate strategy into actionable plans, oversee budgets, and drive regulatory compliance.

A strong candidate will bring deep credit union leadership experience and a track record of strategic execution. This senior role reports to the President/CEO, with exposure to enterprise‑level decisions, mergers, and partnerships

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/finance/leadership or related field is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred for senior leadership development.
• Proven track record in executive leadership within credit unions or banks.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for multiple operational areas and teams.
• Oversee compliant, member‑centred delivery of products and services.
• Lead budgeting, financial planning, and risk management activities.
• Drive process improvement and technology initiatives across the organization.
• Collaborate with the CEO, Board, and ALCO on strategy and performance.
• Foster culture, succession planning, and development of leaders.
