Job summary

Farm Credit Illinois is seeking a Vice President, Member Risk Solutions to work directly with high‑risk borrowers and internal stakeholders to maximize recoveries, minimize credit losses, and protect Association capital. You will bring expertise in collections, loan workouts, credit analysis, and portfolio risk management to support informed decisions on distressed loans.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance-related field and 3–5 years in financial analysis, underwriting, portfolio management, or collections.
Experience with credit risk and distressed loan management is preferred.
Ability to analyze credit data and communicate recommendations clearly.

Responsibilities

Develop and negotiate collection, restructuring, and repayment strategies to maximize recoveries.
Lead collection and recovery efforts, evaluate remedies, and manage litigation support activities.
Perform advanced credit analysis, assess collateral, and recommend credit decisions within authority.
Monitor high‑risk relationships and suggest classification changes for sound portfolio management.
Develop delinquent account strategies, including collateral adjustments and recovery opportunities.
Collaborate with field leadership and loan committees to evaluate troubled credits and mitigate risk.
Maintain portfolio data, analyze trends, and support informed business decisions.
