Compassus is seeking a Vice President of Managed Care to lead the payor portfolio, negotiate contracts, and build strategic relationships with health plans. You will drive operational excellence and guide cross-functional teams through strategic initiatives that advance value-based care across our organization.

The role requires senior leadership experience, strong negotiation capabilities, and a track record of delivering results in healthcare payor ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 5–7 years of work experience strongly preferred.
• Healthcare experience with payors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage payor portfolio, renegotiate or terminate relationships as needed.
• Lead payor negotiations and coach direct reports in negotiations.
• Develop strategic relationships with health plans to advance value-based care goals.
• Drive operational excellence and innovation, including adoption of AI where appropriate.
• Collaborate across functions to implement new solutions and remove obstacles.
