Job summary

Kenco Logistics seeks a results-driven VP of Logistics Operations to direct site-level operations and strategic initiatives. You will partner with site leaders, customers, and internal teams to optimize efficiency, safety, and profitability while shaping long-range plans and value-added services.

This role requires Lean Six Sigma expertise, financial acumen, and strong leadership and communication skills to develop people, manage complex customer relationships, and drive cost reductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in supply chain management; ISO/FDA/DEA/FTZ/EPA experience is a plus.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or training preferred.
• Understanding of supply chain strategies, including dedicated transportation.
• Strong relationship management and ability to align with corporate goals.
• Strong problem solving, planning, and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; interpersonal influence.
• Adaptable and able to manage changing priorities and costs.
• Proactive approach to employee relations and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Identify growth opportunities and expand margins through operational efficiencies.
• Build strong relationships with customers' key contacts and understand their environments.
• Develop and measure customer profiles and monitor issues, data, and contracts.
• Present proposals and scalable value-added solutions.
• Lead program implementation and site change management.
• Review KPIs and data to upsell solutions and improve operations.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma tools to improve efficiency.
• Coach and develop site leaders and teams.
