Job summary

AssistRx is a specialty pharmacy hub services company expanding its analytics capabilities with a Director/VP, Insights to Action. The role leads a three-person data science team, while personally delivering critical analyses and shaping standard analytics practice.

You will interact with market access, patient services, and commercial leadership, translating complex insights into actionable narratives for pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of progressive experience in healthcare analytics, with experience in pharma analytics, market access, or PBM.
• Demonstrated experience managing or leading a small analytics team; player-coach orientation essential.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL; cloud data warehouse (Snowflake strongly preferred).
• Proficiency in Python or R; Python preferred (pandas, numpy, scipy, scikit-learn).
• Experience with ThoughtSpot or Power BI preferred.
• Strong ability to communicate complex analytics to senior non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of three Data Scientists while maintaining personal analytical output.
• Own end-to-end delivery of program analytics for assigned clients; prepare QBRs and ongoing insights.
• Define and maintain KPI frameworks for hub program performance across six families.
• Collaborate with data engineering, MDM, and BI teams to ensure reliable analytical inputs.
• Support commercial positioning, include input to RFPs and go-to-market materials, and define ITA roadmap.
