Job summary

Leidos seeks a Vice President to define strategic growth for the Civilian Agencies business domain. You will lead capture execution, translate customer modernization priorities into opportunities, and drive portfolio growth with strategic and tactical focus.

Expect to manage high-stakes capture efforts, build executive relationships, and orchestrate innovation with partners to Grow the business. 15+ years in government contracting and Top Secret clearance (preferred) are valuable assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 15+ years in government contracting, BD, capture, or strategic growth.
• Proven track record of growing and managing portfolios with revenue growth.
• Experience overseeing large-scale contracts (>$500M).
• Deep Civilian Agencies experience (DHS, DOS, DOJ, HHS, VA, etc).
• Strong strategic, analytical, and business judgment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive relationships.
• Experience leading cross-functional, matrixed teams.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Define a 2–4 year growth roadmap aligned with sector objectives.
• Cultivate relationships with key decision makers in Civilian Agencies.
• Oversee capture strategies to align Leidos offerings with customer challenges.
• Manage and optimize a robust opportunity pipeline and resources.
• Inject innovative digital solutions into capture shaping and bids.
• Monitor market trends and adjust growth plans accordingly.
• Participate in sector and corporate growth reviews and risk reporting.
