Job summary

AerSale is seeking a strategic VP of Cybersecurity to lead enterprise security strategy, governance, and operations across all business segments. The role focuses on building a Zero Trust posture, governing the secure adoption of AI, and ensuring compliance as a publicly traded aerospace company.

You will define the security roadmap and budget, manage risk, and lead teams across SIEM, DLP, IAM, and EDR/XDR while partnering with engineering and executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience building security programs and Zero Trust in regulated/publicly traded environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the enterprise cybersecurity strategy, governance, and budget.
• Oversee Zero Trust architecture across identity, network, and cloud.
• Govern AI security adoption and data governance; establish controls for data egress/leakage and model risks.
• Lead security operations, incident response, and risk remediation; maintain threat intelligence.
