This hybrid role collaborates across legal, licensing, finance, product, and technical teams to shape and execute global litigation strategy, manage outside counsel, and align litigation with Via’s broader business objectives.

Qualifications

• JD with active U.S. bar admission.
• 10+ years of litigation experience in IP and complex commercial matters.
• Proven ability to lead high-stakes litigation and manage outside counsel.
• Ability to align litigation strategy with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end litigation strategy and execution.
• Advise senior leadership on litigation risk, dispute strategy, and licensing enforcement.
• Manage outside counsel, budgets, staffing, and reporting to executives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather facts, assess exposure, and develop positions.
• Develop business-oriented recommendations for dispute resolution options.
• Establish processes for litigation management, reporting, and budgeting.
• Oversee discovery, pleadings, and trial preparation while ensuring risk management.
