Rent the Runway is seeking a seasoned VP of Finance to lead FP&A at our Brooklyn headquarters. You will partner with business leaders to budget, forecast, and drive performance in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.

As a senior finance leader, you’ll shape long-range plans, size strategic initiatives, manage external communications, and support corporate financing in partnership with the CFO and board.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 15+ years of experience in finance and strategic analysis in operational roles within an ecommerce brand, apparel retailer or consumer products company.
• Entrepreneurial drive with ability to lead high-performing teams.
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the FP&A team to budget, forecast and manage the business.
• Guide strategic evolution from subscription model to a fashion service platform.
• Redesign enterprise planning and performance reporting; manage rolling forecasts.
• Develop long-range plans and size strategic initiatives with operating leaders.
• Partner with CFO on external guidance and disciplined management.
• Lead corporate financing activities with board and external counsel.
• Assist with external SEC filings and MD&A narratives.
• Build and iterate complex financial models for revenue growth, cost structure and investments.
• Improve internal reporting processes and leverage analytics for decision making.
• Monitor key operating metrics with BI to drive efficiency.
