Job summary

Rent the Runway is seeking a seasoned VP of Finance to lead FP&A and partner with the CFO and executive team from our Brooklyn, NY headquarters. This role drives budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and investor communications in a fast-paced ecommerce fashion environment.

You will build long-range financial plans, size strategic initiatives, and guide the company through financial planning and external financing processes with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 15+ years in finance and strategic analysis in ecommerce/retail.
• Experience leading a high-performing team.
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly proficient in financial analysis and model building.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A team and partner with stakeholders to budget, forecast and manage the business.
• Guide strategic evolution from subscription model to a platform serving rent, reserve and buy.
• Lead redesigned enterprise planning and reporting with rolling forecasts.
• Build long-range plans and size strategic initiatives with operating leaders.
• Prepare materials for Board of Directors meetings and senior leadership discussions.
• Oversee reporting and compliance and advise on external financing and liquidity.
