Optimal Dynamics, Inc. seeks a VP of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering org. You will set technical direction, manage managers, and stay hands-on in architecture and code.

You’ll partner with Product, AI, and Analytics leadership to deliver reliable, secure software at scale. You will drive cross-functional collaboration with executives, customers, and partners, shaping our roadmap and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience with 3+ years of managing managers.
• Leader of scalable engineering organizations in startups or growth-stage companies.
• Technical SME who defines stack and platform direction for the business.
• Security-oriented in governance, risk, and SOC 2-type controls.
• Strong facilitator and communicator across engineering, product, AI/analytics, and leadership.
• Proven track record earning trust and building consensus across teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and enable Engineering Managers and create a cohesive organization.
• Recruit, develop, and retain engineers; scale the team.
• Set engineering vision, architecture, and reliability/security goals.
• Collaborate with Product, AI/Analytics, and leadership; report progress to executives.
• Represent engineering in customer, partner, and investor conversations.
