Job summary

Dusty Robotics, headquartered in Mountain View, CA, seeks a VP of Engineering to lead a multidisciplinary engineering organization across software, firmware, hardware, and cloud-based AI products. You will translate strategic plans into reliable execution, drive AI adoption, and deliver hardware systems that perform reliably on active job sites.

You will hire and grow engineering leaders, foster autonomy, and collaborate with Product, Operations, Manufacturing, and Customer Success to ensure

Qualifications

• Experience leading large engineering organizations spanning software, robotics, firmware, and hardware
• Ability translate product/tech strategy into reliable execution at scale

Responsibilities

• Lead software, robotics, firmware, electrical, mechanical teams and own roadmap, delivery cadence
• Shape architecture for cloud and AI products with CTO and Product Director
• Drive AI adoption across engineering, including design, review, and testing
• Deliver hardware systems that operate reliably on active job sites
• Hire, coach and develop engineering leaders and empower engineers with ownership
• Partner with Product, Operations, Manufacturing, Customer Success, and Sales to support customers
