Job summary

Bombas is seeking a hands-on, strategic VP of Distribution to own and scale its omni-channel fulfillment network from NYC/DC. You will lead e-comm, wholesale, donations, and retail fulfillment, partner with 3PLs, and build best-in-class operations.

You will set KPIs, manage budgets, coach a leadership team, and travel to partner facilities. This role combines strategic design with hands-on execution to ensure on-time, accurate delivery while supporting Bombas' growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in progressive distribution and supply chain leadership.
• Proven experience operating company-owned DCs and managing 3PLs at scale.
• Strong track record of on-site warehouse operations, labour models, productivity, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end distribution strategy and execution across all warehousing and fulfillment operations.
• Manage 3PL relationships, including on-site oversight and contract negotiations.
• Govern a network of 3PL partners with SLA/KPI design and performance management.
• Ensure compliance at 3PL sites with proper processes, staffing, training, and safety.
• Establish and monitor KPIs and scorecards for on-time, in-full delivery, accuracy, throughput, and cost.
• Drive daily execution through strong leadership and regular reviews with partners.
• Act as senior escalation point for operational issues impacting customer experience.
• Coordinate with logistics leadership on inbound/outbound transportation and capacity planning.
• Design and evolve distribution networks for growth, SKU proliferation, and channel changes.
• Lead continuous improvement across partner facilities for speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Own the distribution operating budget and optimize costs while preserving service levels.
• Build and mentor a high-performing distribution leadership team.
