Job summary

ButcherBox in Watertown, MA is seeking a VP, Digital & Customer to own the member experience online. You will lead Product, Web Development, UX, Loyalty, and Insights, driving a data-driven, test-and-learn approach across channels and platforms.

You’ll report to the Chief Commercial Officer, lead a cross-functional team, and help shape the brand and replatforming efforts while expanding our first‑party data use and customer engagement strategies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in digital product / ecommerce / member experience leadership in a consumer company.
• Strong technical curiosity and hands-on building mindset.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional teams and guiding strategic direction.
• Able to drive change across multiple departments with credible senior stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end digital roadmap in coordination with Tech, Marketing, and Operations.
• Lead Product, Web/App Development, UX, Loyalty, and Insights teams.
• Shape team culture with clear vision, coaching, and talent development.
• Represent ButcherBox externally with strategic partners as the role grows.
• Coach PMs toward outcome ownership and strong data-driven decisions.
• Ensure experiments, tests, and insights translate into action.
