Job summary

The Alzheimer’s Association is seeking a Vice President of Development to lead fundraising and revenue growth through peer‑to‑peer initiatives, corporate partnerships, and community engagement. You will coach a team of development professionals and align strategies with the association’s plan.

Candidates should have 7+ years in leadership of fundraising, strong C‑Suite networking, and a track record of large‑scale events like Walk. CFRE is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years proven leadership experience in peer‑to‑peer fundraising and other diversified fundraising programs.
• Experience with mass market events like Walk is required.
• Ability to analyze data to increase productivity and enhance results.
• Strong track record for networking with C‑Suite community and corporate leaders.
• Proven success in engaging community and corporate leaders for volunteer roles.
• Experience in strategic implementation planning and budget development.
• Empowering, supervising, coaching and motivating fundraising staff and volunteers.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Lead development strategies and align goals with the Association’s strategic plan.
• Coach and mentor the development staff and volunteers to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with key community and corporate leaders.
• Oversee fundraising programs including mass market events, sponsorships, and major gifts.
• Represent the Chapter in meetings and special events and travel as needed.
