Job summary

Career Blazers seeks a visionary Vice President of Development to lead nationwide fundraising initiatives and drive revenue growth. You will cultivate corporate and community partnerships, guiding peer‑to‑peer programs and major campaigns to expand impact in Alzheimer’s and dementia initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of leadership in peer-to-peer fundraising and diversified fundraising programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales or related field; CFRE certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills to use data to improve fundraising productivity.
• Proven ability to network with corporate executives and community leaders.
• Experience engaging corporate and community leaders in volunteer leadership roles.
• Strategic planning, budget development and financial management expertise.
• Proven ability to supervise, coach and motivate fundraising staff and volunteers.
• Ability to collaborate across departments to strengthen organizational capacity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

• Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies that drive revenue growth.
• Inspire, coach and empower staff and volunteers through effective leadership and recognition.

• Foster a collaborative, positive and inclusive team environment that encourages engagement and success.
• Lead fundraising initiatives, including events, corporate sponsorships, major and planned giving opportunities, and donor pipeline development.
