Job summary

Metric DCX is partnering with a leading national general contractor to drive the growth of its data center construction business. We seek an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale data center developments from preconstruction through completion, coordinating with leadership, subcontractors, design teams and clients.

You will be responsible for ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining high safety and quality standards, with travel as required to project sites and partners.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Manager with a general contractor within the mission-critical/data center sector.
• Strong understanding of complex, fast-paced data center construction environments.
• Experience managing subcontractors, budgets, schedules and project controls.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with owners, design teams, trade partners and internal project teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of large-scale data center construction projects.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, procurement and subcontractor performance.
• Coordinate closely with field teams, design partners and trade contractors.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation.
• Monitor project progress, cost and quality against agreed targets.
• Support client communication and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Identify and resolve potential project risks before they impact delivery.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to a high standard.
