Job summary

Sorenson seeks a Security Architect to define, advance, and govern enterprise cybersecurity architecture, spanning identity, applications, cloud, data, and AI governance. You will lead architecture reviews and ensure secure design across major programs, collaborating with Legal, Privacy, Compliance, and Risk teams.

The role emphasizes Zero Trust, threat modeling, and secure SDLC, guiding secure deployment of AI systems and data platforms with enterprise alignment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience designing and governing security architectures across multiple domains (application, cloud, data, identity).
• Experience leading security architecture reviews, risk-based design, and governance processes.
• Knowledge of AI security patterns, data protection, and secure SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern Sorenson’s enterprise cybersecurity architecture strategy, standards, and reference architectures.
• Lead Security Architecture Review processes for major initiatives including cloud, applications, AI systems, and data platforms.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, Product, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure secure design and governance.
• Establish and maintain Zero Trust, identity, and data protection architectures across the organization.
• Develop and maintain security architecture patterns for cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments and modern AI deployments.
• Mentor engineers and architects on secure design practices and architecture maturity.
