Heritage Financial Credit Union in New York seeks a VP - Commercial Lending Officer to lead our commercial lending growth strategy, develop client relationships aligned to our mission and value, and structure lending solutions to help businesses thrive.

The role requires an established book of business within our field of membership across NY and PA, and involves coordinating with Retail Banking and Business Development to meet annual goals while ensuring compliance with policies and SLA

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial lending.
• Established book of business within Heritage Financial Credit Union's field of membership (NY: Orange, Ulster, Dutchess; PA: Pike).
• Knowledge of Commercial/Business Lending, Underwriting, Loan Servicing and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, originate, manage and underwrite C&I and CRE loans.
• Negotiate loan terms, pricing, repayment schedules and collateral.
• Approve/decline loans within authority; provide recommendations for larger ones.
