Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Ten years of lending experience with at least five years in management.
• Knowledge of lending principles, federal/state regulations, collections, policies, bankruptcy and automated lending systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required.
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, management, negotiating, analytical, problem-solving and multitasking skills, and detail orientation required.

Responsibilities

• Establish lending objectives, targets, strategies, and practices to achieve financial, growth, and service goals.
• Seek out new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand existing business.
• Manage maintenance and servicing of existing commercial loan portfolio.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis of prospective borrowers including income statements, cash flow projections, and credit reports.
• Design customized loan packages including loan amount, rates, terms, and collateral requirements.
• Evaluate loan applications, assess risks, and make lending decisions within policies.
• Monitor loan portfolios with regular financial updates and proactive risk management.
• Maintain ongoing client communication and exceptional service.
• Prepare loan documentation and coordinate with legal counsel for regulatory-compliant closings.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and internal risk policies.
• Build a high-performance lending team with coaching and development.
