Job summary

MEDHOST, a division of Harris, seeks a technology executive to lead software engineering and advance AI strategy across the product and platform portfolio. This role will build high-performing teams, set a strategic technology roadmap, and drive AI-first innovation within MEDHOST’s AI-DLC and product portfolio.

Expect 15+ years in technology with 8+ years in software leadership, plus 3–5+ years in healthcare software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS, software engineering, IT, or related field
• 15+ years of progressive technology experience with 8+ years in software engineering leadership
• 3-5+ years’ experience with EHR/healthcare software environments
• Demonstrated success modernizing and transforming software platforms
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, APIs, microservices, cloud, and enterprise architecture
• Experience implementing AI/ML within enterprise products and AI-DLC workflows
• Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, agent orchestration, RAG, AI governance, and AI risk management

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing software engineering organization responsible for product delivery, technology evolution, security, reliability, and operations
• Improve delivery predictability, productivity, quality, resiliency, and cost effectiveness while balancing modernization and commitments
• Collaborate with executives to translate business strategy into actionable technology priorities and investments
• Set metrics and KPIs to measure progress, AI adoption, and business impact
• Advance AI-first transformation across products and AI-DLC with a prioritized roadmap
• Oversee AI innovations, governance, and integration into customer-facing products and workflows
• Drive modernization of legacy applications, cloud platforms, APIs, and AI capabilities
