Job summary

MEDHOST, a division of Harris, seeks a technology executive to lead software engineering and advance AI strategy across the product and platform portfolio. This role will build high-performing teams, execute the technology strategy, and drive an AI-first innovation agenda throughout MEDHOST’s AI-DLC and product portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive technology experience including 8+ years in software engineering leadership.
• 3-5+ years’ experience with healthcare software environments.
• Demonstrated success leading modernization and platform transformation.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise architecture.
• Experience implementing AI within enterprise products and AI-DLC workflows.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, AI governance, and orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing software engineering organization.
• Improve delivery predictability, productivity, quality, and cost effectiveness.
• Partner with executives to translate strategy into technology priorities.
• Establish KPIs to measure progress, AI adoption, and business impact.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to create competitive advantage.
• Serve as trusted advisor on technology and AI opportunities, risks, and trends.
• Drive AI-first transformation across products and AI-DLC workflows.
• Oversee planning, governance, and resource allocation for strategic tech initiatives.
