Job summary

MEDHOST, a division of Harris, is seeking a technology executive to lead software engineering and advance MEDHOST’s technology and AI strategy across the product and platform portfolio. This role will build high-performing engineering teams, execute on the technology roadmap, and drive AI-first initiatives throughout the MEDHOST portfolio.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in technology, with 8+ years in software engineering leadership and 5+ years in senior leadership, plus hands-on experience

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive technology experience including 8+ years of progressive software engineering leadership and 5+ years in senior leadership roles leading large engineering teams.
• 3-5+ years’ experience with EHR and healthcare software environments.
• Strong expertise in modern software engineering practices, distributed systems, APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, and enterprise architecture.
• Proven experience implementing AI and machine learning capabilities within enterprise products and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing software engineering organization accountable for product delivery, technology evolution, security, reliability, and operational outcomes.
• Partner with executive leadership to translate business strategy into technology priorities and investments.
• Establish KPIs to measure progress, AI adoption, and business impact.
• Drive AI-first transformation across products and platforms.
