Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Vice President, Business Development to drive growth in a fast-paced multifamily operations environment. You will lead strategic partnerships, build client relationships, and close management contracts to expand Avenue5’s book of business.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in client strategy or business development within property management, with strong analytical and negotiation skills and a track record of successful deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Five or more years of experience in multi-family property management client strategy, business development or related field.
• Three to five years of experience with RealPage and/or Yardi software is required.
• Proven management experience and ownership of resident lifecycle activities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all phases of the growth process including lead development, underwriting, market assessment, and asset targeting.
• Assist regional leadership in pursuing new business through strategic plans and market analysis.
• Provide underwriting and valuation support to new clients pursuing acquisitions.
• Represent Avenue5 in conferences and drive partnerships through due diligence and effective negotiations.
