Job summary

UOB is seeking a Vice President for the Mortgage Liaison Team in the Central Region. The role focuses on governance, AML/KYC compliance, and mortgage process enhancements across multiple stakeholders.

The candidate will coordinate risk assessments, review control effectiveness, support KYC screening, and lead onboarding and training programs for Mortgage Sales Bankers. Collaboration with Compliance and Audit is essential.

Qualifications

• AML/KYC required knowledge in banking operations.
• Experience with risk controls and governance is preferred.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Sales governance: ensure processes and controls are implemented.
• AML, KYC and Audit advocate for Mortgage Sales Platform.
• Coordinate periodic risk assessments and remediation tracking.
• Review key risk controls and identify gaps or enhancements.
• Support KYC screening for Mortgage Sales Bankers.
• Handle performance packs for Mortgage Sales Bankers.
• Lead onboarding and training; 6-week program and proficiency tests.
• Collaborate with Secured Loans, Credit, Compliance and Audit teams.
• Lead projects for process and system enhancements.
