Job summary

United Community Bank is seeking a Mortgage Regional Sales Manager to lead a team of Mortgage Loan Officers in delivering exceptional customer experiences and strong origination results. You will set production goals, drive strategy, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and investor requirements.

You will recruit, train, and coach a high-performance team, manage expenses and revenue, and partner with Bank operations to optimize pricing, fulfillment, and delivery.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ management experience or proven leadership of 12-20 team members.
• 3 years’ experience in a Bank regulated environment preferred.
• Experience with residential mortgage sales originations and mortgage operations functions.

Responsibilities

• Establishing production goals and strategy for Mortgage Loan Officers.
• Determining team’s annual goals, reevaluating the goals monthly and quarterly.
• Driving sales productivity and profitability through closely working with Mortgage Loan Officers.
• Recruiting, training, and building a high performance team and retaining top performers.
• Motivating and rewarding mortgage consultants through sales calls and joint ventures.
• Ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory/investor requirements.
• Managing expenses, revenue generation, and profit and loss statements.
• Leading sales and product training to maintain best-in-class service.
