Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Dallas seeks a Lending Advisory Compliance Officer (VP) to lead regulatory compliance for residential mortgage lending within U.S. Banks Non-Financial Risk. You will partner with Mortgage Division to advise on controls, respond to regulatory changes, and ensure policies reflect federal and state requirements.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 8+ years regulatory compliance experience in residential mortgage lending, and strong communication. CRCM; MBA or JD preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• CRCM; MBA or JD from an accredited school desired.
• 8+ years' regulatory compliance experience in residential mortgage lending.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong multi-project management capability.
• Proficient in Federal and State mortgage laws and guidance.
• Strong research skills to answer business partner questions.
• Excellent computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Advise residential mortgage lending division on controls to meet federal/state requirements.
• Update bank policies and procedures when regulations change.
• Lead ad-hoc reviews and monthly compliance QA activities.
• Serve as SME for MSPBNA policy updates per compliance plan.
• Manage HMDA team operations and HMDA LAR submissions.
• Develop and refresh mortgage training curriculum annually.
• Support internal/external audits with mortgage documentation.
• Test mortgage loan origination system enhancements from a compliance lens.
