Job summary

Western Alliance Bank, a Western Alliance Bancorporation subsidiary, seeks a Compliance Manager to oversee compliance risk management for residential mortgage lending. You will guide the 2LOD function, advise the business on federal and state mortgage rules, and support issue management, regulatory changes, and controls evaluation.

The role may lead a team and requires strong communication skills and extensive regulatory knowledge; travel is possible.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, or similar fields.
• Ability to assess compliance with federal/state mortgage laws and agency requirements.
• Strong leadership potential and experience supervising teams is preferred.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance risk management for residential mortgage lending operations.
• Provide regulatory guidance and support issue management and regulatory change initiatives.
• Review policies and training to ensure regulatory alignment and control expectations.
• May lead and develop a team including coaching and performance management.
