Job summary

Fifth Third Bank, National Association is seeking a Middle Market Relationship Manager, VP to manage profitable client relationships in Detroit, MI. You will coordinate with product partners to tailor relationship strategies, analyze financials, and monitor credit exposure while driving growth and client satisfaction.

This role requires extensive banking experience, strong partnership skills, and the ability to lead in a team-based sales environment. Travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business (e.g. Business Administration, Finance, Accounting) or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years Commercial Banking experience, at least 5 years of sales experience preferred.
• Formalized commercial credit training or equivalent credit experience required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop profitable new client relationships by leveraging centers of influence and referrals.
• Develop and implement a business plan to achieve financial goals and qualitative measures.
• Collaborate with internal partners to deepen relationships and acquire new prospects.
• Attend events to broaden networks and deepen knowledge of trends and competitors.
• Analyze financial information to determine credit requests to pursue.
