Midwest BankCentre seeks a VP of Loan Operations to lead modernization and strategic transformation across loan documentation, servicing, and post-closing processes.

You will guide a high-performing team, align operations with regulatory and investor requirements, and drive efficiency through AI, automation, and data analytics while maintaining customer-centric focus.

The role partners with Technology, Risk, and Compliance to ensure agile, resilient Loan Operations aligned with growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is required.
• 10+ years in loan operations with leadership experience preferred.
• Deep understanding of loan docs, servicing, and post-closing processes across Commercial, Consumer, Small Business, Mortgage, and SBA lending.
• Strong knowledge of lending regulations, investor requirements, accounting controls, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Architect and execute strategies driving operational excellence, scalability, and service quality across loan operations.
• Lead, mentor, and empower a high-performing team, both remotely and on-site.
• Oversee daily operations, performance management, and resource allocation to meet goals.
• Develop policies, procedures, and controls supporting compliance, resilience, and risk mitigation.
• Champion AI, intelligent automation, and data analytics to improve efficiency and controls.
• Sponsor practical AI opportunities across loan lifecycle, partnering with Technology, Risk, and Compliance.
