Job summary

Santander is seeking a Vice President, Lending Solutions - Portfolio Management in the United States. You will manage portfolios across various lending lines, performing credit analysis, monitoring covenants and collateral, and coordinating with Front Office, Risk, and Operations to ensure strong governance and timely reviews.

The role entails leading quarterly and annual reviews, driving accurate credit spreads, and supporting amendments and waivers while mentoring junior staff and ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong knowledge of CIB lending, credit analysis, and portfolio management.
• Experience with credit documentation, ratings, and governance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual credit reviews for assigned portfolios.
• Perform credit spreading, financial analysis, and leverage studies.
• Monitor covenants, collateral, and documentation; escalate issues.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Credit, Risk, Agency, Operations and Transaction Management.
• Support governance forums and remediation plans for portfolio monitoring.
