Job summary

Santander US is seeking a Vice President to lead portfolio management, credit monitoring and credit administration across SCIB lending portfolios. You will coordinate quarterly reviews, monitor covenants, and work with Front Office, Credit and Operations to maintain disciplined governance.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.
Strong knowledge of CIB lending, credit analysis, portfolio management, financial spreading, covenant and collateral monitoring, credit documentation, ratings, amendments and portfolio reporting.
7–10 years of experience in CIB portfolio management, credit analysis, credit administration, lending, risk management, agency, financial spreading or related roles.

Responsibilities

Credit Monitoring and Reviews: prepare, coordinate and review quarterly and annual credit reviews for portfolio names.
Perform credit spreading, financial analysis, variance analysis, leverage/liquidity analysis and borrower performance updates.
Support rating reviews, watchlist recommendations, exposure analysis and escalation of credit deterioration or risks.
Covenant, Collateral and Documentation Monitoring: track covenants, reporting, collateral status, insurance, statements and obligations.
Amendments, Waivers and Lifecycle Events: support amendments, waivers, extensions and restructurings.
Portfolio Reporting and Governance: prepare reporting, KPIs, KRIs and governance materials.
