Job summary

Taylor Morrison Inc. seeks a Vice President, Land Development to lead the land development team through engineering, entitlement, and development processes, ensuring timely lot supply for the Division.

You will supervise contracts, work with planners and engineers, and collaborate on annual strategic land planning within a strong leadership team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • Minimum ten years of experience in land development.
  • Strong negotiating skills.
  • Concise writing and public speaking/presentation skills desirable.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Proven track record of leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Develop land committee package for Investment Committee presentation.
  • Supervise land acquisition escrows and title work.
  • Coordinate with Land Planners, Engineers, and Contractors to ensure on-time land development within budget.
  • Negotiate land development contracts with vendors, trades, and contractors.
  • Direct land development activities internally and in the field.
  • Create annual strategic land plans with Division leadership.
  • Interview, select, and train employees; set pay and hours; appraise productivity.
