Job summary

BNY is seeking a Senior Vice President to lead Institutional Trade Maintenance and Fail Management processing teams in Jersey City, NJ. The role oversees day-to-day processing, client support, risk management, and people leadership across a mid-to-large team.

The ideal candidate has deep brokerage processing experience, strong leadership, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 7-10 years total experience with 1-3 years in management preferred.
• Experience in brokerage processing preferred.
• Licenses or certifications as required by business.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium to large teams or multiple client processing teams responsible for institutional trade maintenance and fail management.
• Oversee client account servicing, inquiries, processing, and issue resolution.
• Serve as top-level support for external clients where issues were not resolved at lower levels.
• Ensure work volume meets standards and is reviewed and documented.
• Lead execution of trade maintenance processes (amendments, cancellations, allocations, settlements, fail resolution).
• Monitor daily processing workflows for accuracy and timeliness.
