Job summary

Delta Dental seeks a strategic, results-driven VP of Infrastructure & Engineering to lead enterprise infrastructure, cloud operations, and platform engineering. You will set multi-year priorities, drive reliability and security, and align decisions with business value.

Qualifications

• Executive-level experience leading enterprise infrastructure and technology operations.
• Experience with SLOs/SLAs, observability, incident management, and postmortems.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into an executable infrastructure roadmap.
• Strong financial acumen and cost governance for cloud/infrastructure.
• Ability to communicate a technology vision to executives and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, design, delivery, and operation of enterprise infrastructure and tech operations.
• Establish multi-year priorities, standards, and investment roadmaps.
• Own incident management, service performance, and high-severity event leadership.
• Drive modernization via cloud, IaC, CI/CD, automation, and self-healing platforms.
• Oversee disaster recovery, business continuity, and governance across capacity and lifecycle.
• Partner across orgs to align investments, standards, and risk acceptance.
