Job summary

Delta Dental of New Jersey & Connecticut is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to evolve how we build, integrate, and operate applications in a HIPAA-regulated environment. Hybrid work onsite two days weekly (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) in Parsippany, NJ, with strong focus on cloud platforms, automation, and AI-assisted tooling.

You will develop CI/CD pipelines, deploy on GCP, and lead IaC practices while mentoring the team on modern cloud technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years’ experience in general application analysis/support including .NET, APIs, coding, and scripting.
• 3+ years hands-on cloud platform experience (GCP, Azure, or AWS) deploying and managing solutions.
• Healthcare or regulated industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Develop and deploy solutions in GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL).
• Write automation with Python, PowerShell, etc.
• Implement IaC with Terraform or similar tools.
• Support integration tools such as MuleSoft.
• Debug production issues and maintain monitoring with Datadog.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotating basis.
• Create architecture diagrams, data flows, and runbooks.
• Collaborate with security, network, data, and dev teams.
• Mentor team members on cloud technologies.
