Delta Dental seeks a Vice President, Infrastructure & Engineering to lead strategy, architecture, and operations for enterprise infrastructure. You will guide infrastructure engineering, cloud operations, and service management with a focus on reliability, security, and cost efficiency.

The role requires onsite presence at least 3 days a week, and you will partner across business units to align investments with enterprise value and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's preferred.
• 16+ years technology experience with 10+ years in leadership.
• Experience leading enterprise infrastructure, cloud, and operations.
• Executive-level knowledge of strategy, architecture, and delivery.
• Reliability discipline with SLOs/SLAs, observability, and incident management.
• Expertise in operational resilience, disaster recovery, and continuity.
• Cloud, platform engineering, DevOps, IaC, CI/CD, and automation.
• Strong financial acumen, budget planning, and cost governance.
• Ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders.
• Documentation, runbooks, and knowledge management.

Responsabilités

• Lead enterprise infrastructure strategy, roadmaps, and investment priorities.
• Provide executive leadership across engineering, cloud operations, and service management.
• Establish and manage SLOs/SLAs, observability, and incident response.
• Design secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure and platforms.
• Drive modernization through cloud, IaC, CI/CD, automation, and self-healing.
• Oversee disaster recovery, continuity planning, and testing.
• Govern capacity, asset management, changes, and vendor risk.
• Collaborate with leaders to align cross-stack decisions and investments.
• Manage portfolio priorities, budgets, and cloud cost governance.
• Develop leadership capability and a blameless postmortem culture.
