Delta Dental Ins. is seeking a Senior Data Architect to design and implement scalable cloud-native data solutions. This role collaborates with IT leadership and business partners to translate requirements into secure, high-performing architectures.

You will define target-state architectures, govern data ingestion and sharing, and enable AI/ML capabilities while ensuring governance, security, and regulatory compliance across platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in modern cloud data architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience delivering enterprise data solutions (data warehouses/lakes/lakehouse).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or multi-cloud) and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end data solutions.
• Define target-state data architectures and blueprints for data flows and storage.
• Establish architecture patterns for ingestion, transformation, and data sharing.
• Architect scalable data pipelines with focus on performance, cost, and reliability.
• Enable AI/ML capabilities through scalable data architectures.
