Stellar Health is seeking a Vice President, Information Security to lead and evolve the company’s security program. You will own the full scope of information security strategy, operations, governance, and budget, reporting to the CCO and partnering with CTO and cross‑functional leaders.

Build a scalable, risk‑driven security function for a health-tech SaaS platform. You will manage a small team, drive multi-year security roadmaps, oversee regulatory compliance, and ensure trust with health plan

Qualificações

• 13+ years of progressive experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role owning security strategy or operations.
• Deep expertise in healthcare or health-tech security, with hands-on HIPAA/HITRUST experience.
• Experience with threat-based or risk-based security frameworks and risk mitigation.
• Proven people management in a high-growth software product environment.
• Strong executive presence with board reporting and customer engagements.
• Experience in SaaS-first, cloud-native environments (AWS preferred).
• Demonstrated AI tool adoption leadership and measurable productivity gains.

Responsabilidades

• Own Stellar’s enterprise security strategy aligned with objectives, regulatory obligations, and customer expectations.
• Lead security reporting to CCO and executive leadership on risk postures, program maturity, and investments.
• Evolve threat-based risk model and manage the security budget and resources.
• Define and enforce security standards across cloud, application, endpoint, and IAM; perform architecture reviews and incident responses.
• Oversee third-party/cyber risk management and cyber insurance coordination.
• Lead incident response, business continuity readiness, and HITRUST audit preparation.
• Perform due diligence for partnerships, payor relationships, and potential acquisitions.
• Represent Stellar’s security posture to health plan CISOs and procurement teams.
